I am so excited to have little Lana out in the open now, she doesn't look like Noelle like Ariel did, she is taking more after her Daddy (Seth).

Ariel keeps going back and forth between loving Lana and struggling to get attention.. pretty funny. Big happenings today - ATF is also in town, hosting 4 interns here, so things are pretty crazy, waiting to go pick them up right now, should be getting back to the church soon... I hope. So tired, Noelle called at 5 am, and we've been going since then... I am getting so old!

i recently rediscovered my xanga site, only because my coworker -who was very unfortunately set up by a "well-meaning" (in quotes because i doubt she really meant well, if i had been on the receiving end of her efforts, i would question what i had done to deserve such treatment) friend who gave her xanga name to some friend of her husband's to check out - Poor girl -  wanted to show me the guy who has been checking her out...

i hope all of my puctuation in that paragraph make it understandable.

i should now take this opportunity to catch up with my ridiculously large amount of friends that have sites in this crazy blog world we live in...

we currently have a small tank with one of these disgusting creatures, i have affectionately deemed "Highlander" ("there can be only one"), swimming around inside. my brother, mick, and i purchased a box full for a dollar on clearance at wal-mart.  i had previous experience with them when i lived in CO, a friend of mine had a tank herself of slightly less violent triops (she had 3 survive) and i thought he would enjoy their frolicsome ways.

you should all try it.

then we can have a contest as to who can get the most to hatch and survive.

i like it when i really like church. wed nights are my favorites, my pastor digs a little deeper for these services and i really enjoy them. that might make me a seem little nerdy, but if you understood the highlander reference you already knew that.

hey, big news.  after 3 years and 9 months of employment with david's bridal i am finally getting a real job. so instead of spending 40 random hours a week including every saturday at work, i will now join the masses of m-f 9-5ers and enjoy saturdays as they were meant to be enjoyed.

what is this new job you may ask, and since you cannot google it, i will tell you - i will be working in the HR dept of college park family care center doing various things including, but most likely not limited to: recruiting, payroll, benefits, 401K and other administrative tasks...

this is very exciting for me, as i am getting older and do not enjoy the constantly changing schedule as much as i used to - actually, it's just the weekends - if i didn't have to work 10 hour days every stinking saturday i might have been content to work there forever... maybe.

other not so big news, but i think it's exciting - for my 26th birthday my brothers (robert and james, with a little help from the 'rents as well.) got me an ipod... i have been wanting one for quite a while... my family is just so great. yea for family.
